FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WET AND DRY CUPPING?

Dry cupping is about creating a vacuum between the skin and the cup, to contribute to increased blood circulation, relieve muscle pain, and loosen stiff muscles. It can also contribute to better sleep. Wet cupping, on the other hand, is a technique where small incisions are made in the skin to extract blood that contains impurities that prevent good blood circulation in the body. The wet cupping can help solve several problems depending on where the cups are placed, but primarily it strengthens the immune system by 40-60%. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions regarding wet cupping.

IS WET CUPPING PAINFUL SINCE YOU MAKE SMALL INCISIONS IN THE SKIN?

No, in general it is not painful, this is because a form of dry cupping is used first to numb the area where wet cupping is to be used. But it is important to mention that certain points on the body are more sensitive than others and there are therefore points on the body you can feel a little when you make an incision in them, otherwise you feel nothing.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MASSAGE?

During a massage, you pamper yourself and your body. During treatment you will be relaxed, and you will feel better both physically and mentally, and this leads to you becoming more productive in your everyday life. Massage can also contribute to reduced stress. After you have tried a massage once, it is common to want more treatments.
